JAZZ at THE TOWER! If you have been down to The Crossroads Blues Club recently, you can't fail to have noticed the driving and creative keyboard playing of Freddie Pirotta. Freddie hosts his own monthly Jazz evening at the Tower of Song, with some of the giants of the Birmingham jazz scene dropping in to make sure things go with a swing. The evening is called imaginatively FREDDIE PIROTTA'S HIP OPERATION and Freddie's next surgery will be on Saturday 4th September. |

The Tower of Song is Birmingham's foremost Acoustic and Roots Music venue. As well as hosting gigs by featured artistes, the Tower is available for private hire and also hosts the following regular events:
Tuesdays: THE BEGGARS BANQUET - click here for more information - usually young unplugged Bands/Duets/Solo
Wednesdays: THE REA RIVER ROOTS CLUB - usually first half 'open mic' two song slots for aspiring and experienced players, second half different guests each week playing the main set
