Previously in the electro-pop duo Field Harmonics, since going solo Bryony has developed and refined her music over the past three years. This new musical direction has resulted in Bryony being highlighted as one of the ‘25 to watch in the Midlands in 2019’ byBBC WM and her latest single,‘Little Tree’ made their Track of the Month (May 2019). Along with receiving national airplay amongst Tom Robinson’s Mixtape (BBC 6 Music), her critically acclaimed EP, Conscious became shortlisted for ‘Best Record’ by Birmingham Music Awards 2019. Throughout her musical career so far, Bryony has shared the stage with the likes of Hazel English, Stevie Parker, Martha Ffion, Japanese Breakfast, She Drew the Gun andThe Goon Sax. While spending this summer breaking through into festival season, performing on the BBC Introducing stages at Camper Calling and The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival
Bryony’s music has developed into dreamy, hook laden indie-pop-folk soundscape; taking influence from the likes of Anna Calvi, Cocteau Twins, and Marika Hackman. Her personal politics and the need to break the patriarchal industry structures have driven Bryony to found her own DIY label, Grrrl Groannn.
Described as Folk-Pop with her catchy songs, enchanting harmonies and meaningful lyrics, it’s understandable why Christie’s sound is likened to Fleetwood Mac.

After great success locally, winning Sutton Has Musical Talent, taking the front page – literally – in local newspapers, Christie is on her way to even greater success.
